-Storyline-
The first six episodes of Sailor Stars are devoted to killing off Neherenia from Sailormoon SuperS. Some consider this to be the "true" ending of SuperS. Then, along comes Sailor Galaxia with her Sailor Anima-mates to wreak havoc on the Senshi as well as the Earth. The Sailor Starlights first appear here as well. The focus is on Star Seeds, and the main villain, Galaxia, wants them. Chibichibi makes her first appearance here. This season also marks the first usage of the Sailor Star Song (for the opening credits) and Kaze mo Sora mo Kitto (for the ending credits). The past four seasons have all used Moonlight Densetsu for the opening credits.
This is the fifth and final season of what has been called one of the best cartoons ever made. This 4-disc set contains the UNCUT final episodes (167-200).
Note to parents: This DVD is completely uncut. There is content of an adult nature: gender roles, lesbianism, cross-dressing. A few of the male characters turn out to be women, and there is some nudity in the later episodes. There are also a few subtle sexual jokes. But, nothing explicit.
